Description
SBM muffler-filters utilize porous sintered bronze directly bonded to pipe thread fittings to diffuse air and muffle noise from the exhaust ports of valves, cylinders, and air tools.
These units offer a combination of small size with the greatest possible sound deadening qualities to reduce exhaust noise to acceptable levels within OSHA noise requirements.
Filter Silencers (Outer and Inner Perforated Guard)
This Filter Silencer is a highly efficient dual-stage filter plus an effective muffler for equipment such as compressor intakes, pressure blowers and pumps, reservoir vents, and gear housing breathers. Maximum pressure 125 psi F series has both an outer and inner perforated guard plus an additional felt disc at the inlet for extra silencing.
Polyethylene Body and Polyethylene Element Silencers
Polyethylene body & porous polyethylene element Maximum operating pressure 150 psi Operating temperature 40°F to 195°F
UCI Aluminum Silencers
49 MHM-Series high flow mufflers feature a 50 mesh self cleaning stainless steel screen which are combined with a corrosion-resistant aluminum shell to create a highly efficient ultra quiet muffler designed with minimal back pressure. When installed on the exhaust ports of pneumatic valves or manifolds the aluminum body muffler provides a quick and inexpensive way to reduce work area noise while preventing contamination from entering into the inside of the pneumatic valves. Unit should be mounted in a protective position free from excessive vibration. Maximum operating pressure 300 psi Operating temperatures 35°F to 160°F 50 mesh
Universal Sintered Bronze Silencers
SBM muffler-filters utilize porous sintered bronze directly bonded to pipe thread fittings to diffuse air and muffle noise from the exhaust ports of valves, cylinders, and air tools. These units offer a combination of small size with the greatest possible sound deadening qualities to reduce exhaust noise to acceptable levels within OSHA noise requirements. Maximum operating pressure 300 psi. Operating temperatures 35˚F to 300˚F 40 micron
Filter Silencers (Outer Perforated Guard)
This Filter Silencer is a highly efficient dual-stage filter plus an effective muffler for equipment such as compressor intakes, pressure blowers and pumps, reservoir vents, and gear housing breathers. Maximum pressure 125 psi M series has an outer perforated guard over the element.
Polyethylene Body and Polyvinyl Element Silencers
Polyethylene body and polyvinyl element Maximum operating pressure 130 psi Operating temperature 40°F to 140°F

Universal Steel Silencers
Rugged design featuring corrosion-resistant all metal construction, high-flow capacity and minimal back pressure. When installed in the exhaust ports of pneumatic valves, these metal pneumatic silencers are a quick and inexpensive method to help reduce work area noise and at the same time they protect the inside of the valve from contamination through the exhaust ports. Maximum operating pressure 300 psi Operating temperatures 35°F to 160°F
Plastic Silencers
Plastic body and 50 mesh stainless steel screen Maximum operating pressure 150 psi Operating temperature 35°F to 120°F
Stainless Steel Silencers
SSBM-Series mufflers are constructed with 300 series stainless steel materials. They are resistant to atmospheric corrosion, foodstuffs, sterilizing solutions, many organic chemicals, dyestuffs and a wide variety of inorganic chemicals. These compact mufflers are furnished with a standard male pipe thread connection. They are easy to install and maintain and are particularly suitable for a confined area. They are used to diffuse air and muffler noise from the exhaust ports of air valves, air cylinders and air tools to an acceptable level within OSHA noise requirement. SSBM-Series mufflers can also be used as filters for gasoline, various chemical solutions, oil and air exhaust and intake filtering, coalescing of oil mist or water vapor, cryogenic phase separation, pressure of vacuum equalization and many others. Unit should be mounted in a protective position free from excessive vibration. Maximum operating pressure 300 psi Operating temperatures 35°F to 392°F 70 micron Model Size
